SPRING FLOWERS.

I collected these lovelies on a walk 2 evenings ago.  The weather has been divine!  Goodness, I love it here...

SPRING SHOP WINDOWS.

I LOVED making the flowers (California poppies) for these windows.  They took quite a while, but only consisted of crepe paper and embroidery thread and some folding, twisting and sewing.

JEWELRY.

I backed off from making jewelry for a while (mostly while in England).  I was not feeling particularly inspired or motivated (plus I didn't have all of my supplies), and I didn't want to force it.  Recently that changed and I have a bunch of new ideas and am creating again!  Doing something creative every day has been so good for my soul (jewelry, painting, cooking, drawing, etc.) and my head and journal have been exploding with ideas...yay!  I went back and looked through some of my favorite pieces that have sold over the past 1.5-2 years (along with about 15-20 more that I don't have good photos of).  It made me realize how awesome it is that people out there are walking around wearing something that I created with my own hands and heart.  Pretty cool.
